SCRATCH COMPETITION INFORMATION: http://www.unb.ca/webdev/csas/competitions/jr-high/index.html

The Middle School Technology Education (MSTE) program at Bliss Carman is a very diverse and interesting course for students. Cross Curricular activities that include literacy, numeracy and science are implemented in almost every assignment and module.

All Bliss Carman students participate in the technology education program over the course of a school year. During the13 week technology rotation, students complete work in a variety of areas. Utilizing numerous software applications and hands-on activities, students address all of the Department of Education’s Curriculum Outcomes for this subject. Units/Modules that students may complete are listed in detail on grade level specific pages, found by clicking on the links on the left hand side of the page.

The entire program overview is available for all grades, by clicking on the link below. This will provide a brief summary of each project, that students at each grade level will be completing.

Students are strongly encouraged to use their student email account for all necessary email communication. Student email accounts are provided by the New Brunswick Department of Education for all students in the province. This is the only email communication platform that students are permitted to use during the school day. It is a web-based email that may be accessed at home as well. Details on accessing student email and the portal are below:
